University-Society Collaboration Agreements

Signature of the Consolidation of Shared Space

One of the objectives of the University of A Coruña Social Council is to promote the University of A Coruña development strategy, favouring its interrelation with society in order to ensure higher-quality university teaching and research and its effective transfer and enhancement by companies, enabling the university to contribute decisively to the economic, social and cultural development of its surroundings.

In developing these objectives, the University of A Coruña Social Council, as the body representing society in the university, has promoted signing agreements with private entities and companies for the joint undertaking of academic, training or informative activities in various fields.

The agreements and conventions promoted by the UDC Social Council include the following:

  • Collaboration agreement between Industria de Diseño Textil S.A. (Inditex) and the University of A Coruña for undertaking activities aimed at the implementation of a University Social Responsibility model. Read more.

  • Collaboration agreement between the University of A Coruña and Industria de Diseño Textil S.A. (Inditex) for the recruitment of postdoctoral researchers with international projection and extensive international experience through the “InTalent Programme”. Read more.
  • Specific collaboration agreements between the University of A Coruña, Fundación Universia and Banco Santander, S.A. for the implementation, execution and consolidation by the University of the “Shared Space” Project Read more.
  • Specific collaboration agreement between the University of A Coruña (UDC), the UDC Social Council, Banco Santander S.A. and the University of Cantabria Foundation for the study and research of the financial sector in the “Finances for Mortals” project. Read more.
